Lean Station at the Indian Lean Construction Conference — 2019
Lean Station was invited to share about its journey in implementing Lean PlanDo at the plenary session at ILCC conference in Pune, India. Mr. Sharath Waikar, Founder & CEO of Lean Station, spoke on “Why setting the intention is paramount and how method or technology will follow the intention” , at the Indian Lean Construction Conference 2019, held at National Institute of Construction Management and Research, Pune on Nov 15 2019.
Below is a brief about the talk
With the world of construction being a network of events where time and money determine its future; our future, understanding the causal efficacy of these events in the network is vital. The talk focussed on the different ways of how we understand things around us and why, how we solve problems and look to eliminate them progressively in our lives.
With the apparent knowledge of the problems plaguing this industry, the importance of setting the purpose before any method or technology has become paramount in the current journey of transformation. Explaining about some minute details about things around us in the nature like water and cloud, Sharath connected them back to the world of construction to share his opinion of a method of Lean + Digital that has benefited progressively to the intention of on-time delivery of projects by improving them.
